ILN becomes a shareholder in Lotrex, our French partner network. This merger signals further strengthening and underpinning of the good partnership between the two. Three daily ILN routes to Paris, Lille and Dijon are now active.

INTERNATIONALITY is very important to ILN! The joint venture with cargo partner GmbH opens up the East European market to all ILN members. A milestone in international system development.

The tenth ILN TSP is integrated into the existing network structure. ILN quickly becomes established as the package goods network for direct delivery.

Move into the new central hub. Moving into the new hub almost doubles capacities in all areas. The site in Homberg/Efze will now provide 6800 square metres of enclosed space, 900 square metres of administration area and 96 gates.

Opening the regional hub in Wunstorf near Hanover reduces the load on the central hub and also creates significant cost benefits for everybody.

After a lengthy planning phase, S.T.a.R.’s first hub facility starts operations. Its particularly good location at the heart of Europe and the good availability of labour in the North Hesse region guarantee smooth operations on a site measuring around 3800 square metres.

27 medium-sized forwarding companies found the S.T.a.R. joint venture in 1994, one of the first logistics networks in Germany. Handling is initially carried out at the Weber Spedition site in Göttingen.
